British tennis sensation Emma Raducanu has playfully dismissed speculation regarding a romantic relationship with five-time Grand Slam champion Carlos Alcaraz. The denial came during a pre-Wimbledon press conference, where she also confirmed their participation in mixed doubles at the upcoming US Open.
Emma Raducanu and Carlos Alcaraz share a moment during training.
The rumors ignited after Raducanu was seen supporting Alcaraz during his semi-final match at the HSBC Championships at Queen's Club. The pair has also been practicing together, including a recent session in preparation for Wimbledon 2025, which commences on June 30.
When questioned about the dating rumors, Raducanu gave a straightforward answer: "We're just good friends." As the reporter attempted to move on, Raducanu quipped, “Way to wrap up.”

The two tennis stars have been preparing for their mixed doubles debut at the US Open.
"It was fun yesterday. We were both on court with Evian, just getting some volley practice ahead of New York. I'm really happy to be playing with him. We had a great time," Raducanu stated, expressing her excitement about the upcoming partnership.
Raducanu also revealed that Alcaraz initiated the mixed doubles partnership. "Yes, he asked me. He asked me earlier on in the year, and I was very surprised, honoured, and excited," she added.
