Inspired by their initial meeting, Vikas Khanna made a promise to visit Lata Mangeshkar’s Mumbai residence, Prabhu Kunj, every Ganesh Chaturthi. He kept this vow faithfully, flying to India from abroad solely for this purpose, except during the pandemic.He wrote, "I would fly to India just to touch her feet, pray, hear her voice, eat the best modaks… and then fly back.
This ritual went on for years, and it has deeply inspired me."
