The latest ICC Test rankings showcase significant movements following a week of compelling performances across both Test and T20I formats. Indian wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant and England's Ben Duckett are the major headliners, achieving new career-high rankings after their remarkable performances in the first Test of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy at Headingley.

Rishabh Pant has surged to seventh place in the ICC Test batting rankings, fueled by his twin centuries at Headingley. He became only the second wicketkeeper in Test history, after Zimbabwe’s Andy Flower, to achieve this feat. Pant is also the first Indian wicket-keeper batter to cross 800 rating points in Test History.

Joe Root remains the top-ranked Test batter globally, followed closely by his English teammate Harry Brook. India's Shubman Gill has also made progress, climbing five places to 20th after his impressive century in the first innings.

Jasprit Bumrah, India's pace spearhead, maintains his position as the world’s No. 1 Test bowler. His recent five-wicket haul at Headingley reinforced his dominance in the red-ball format.
